19-Year Old Wins 40th Annual Rockville Open

Alex Kamargo, 19, held on to win the 40th Annual Rockville Open. His two day total of 151 was one better than second place Chuck Iliff and two better than Ty Saloma. Iliff did not go empty handed as he was the eventual winner of the Rockville City Championship, beating out Mike Connors and Joe Jordan. The First Flight title went to Al Aldana. Eric Anderson came in second, Jon Mann third. Charlie Causey captured the Second Flight title, Mike Kelley second and Doyle Gantt third. Third Flight was won by Wayne McAllister, Hal Blitz finished second and Paul Leonard third. Stuart Gordon took the Fourth Flight with Andy McCann finishing second and Joe Wang third. The Fifth Flight title went to Matt Krasner who edged out Jim Gitchell in a tie breaker. Harry Kidd finished third.
